Alley-Wall Layout.Doc -- (c) David Pabst 1990-1992
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This is the layout of Alley-Wall's configuration file. This file is needed
to run Alley-Wall. If AWSETUP.EXE is not in the archive (A direct
violation of the License agreement.), or you have a mono system and cannot
use AWSETUP then you can use a text editor to create and edit ALLYWALL.CNF.
If you don't have the full version of Alley-Wall, mail away for an Evaluation
Copy ($5\US, Refer to the order form in the documentation or ORDER.FRM).
You must enter INTERRUPT on the first line, then the PASSNUMB (reg code),
System Operator's Name, Bulletin Board's Name, System Operator's Security
Level, Use Bad User System(TRUE\FALSE), Bad User Message, placement of new
bulletin entries (NEW ON TOP or NEW ON BOTTOM), Maximum number of entries
on the Alley-Wall bulletin. Background Fill Character for Alley-Wall Setup,
person 1, person 2, and person3 (A list of people you want to have access of
SysOp functions). In version 2.0-2.01 you must have VERSION 2.0 placed
at the bottom of the configuration file.
Example: (Items in brackets are not to be included in config file)
